Our host was wonderfully responsive, in many cases anticipating need. An example: It was unseasonably cold that week so we were provided extra fuel for the stove. We really appreciated that.
Pitigliano is a quiet place (November) had excellent meals/food & wines. With a car you can visit nearby small towns.
