Loved the historic side of this place. LOVELY room..super nice pool..yummy food...great location..what more could you want..simply great!

Beautiful historic villa with lots of original switches, lights, fans, etc. Not modern but lovely and comfortable. I think there are only 7 rooms. We had one on the second floor that was enormous! Had an entryway with a dresser and mirror and bathroom off that, then into the bedroom, which was huge, with canopy bed, couch, desk, etc. Shared terrace in back and larger one in front. Really lovely. The staff are a delight and do everything they can to make you happy. Lovely pool! And, two darling cats. Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 nights and could've happily stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The staff are wonderful. Miss Tea in particular, but really, all of the people who worked there were terrific. The location is great and convenient. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfasts and delicious food, generally. La Villa is a beautiful heritage home and it was lovely to stay here.

Loved the old colonial French charm & decor. Just remember that this is an older building & bugs will get in. We stayed in adjacent rooms 5 & 6 and had the entire floor & balcony to ourselves. Good views. We also stayed in the family room 8, which was huge & had a separate living room that was awesome! Bathroom wasn’t so private though with the see through windows. Maybe they should put in tinted/frosted windows to maintain the aesthetics. Shopping & excursions were a short tuk-tuk ride away.

Lovely staff, and a HUGE room in French Colonial style with two terraces, one over looking .the river. There were great breakfast options (Cambodian or Western available and cooked fresh to order). The pool was fantastic, as were the poolside drinks. The onsite restaurant was also great and had many options. I would happily stay again.
