It's a nice place but nothing special. Pretty much a formulaic "nice hotel". My biggest issue was Banff itself - crawling with summer tourists and this hotel was just another faceless nice place to stay. We couldn't get out of Banff fast enough.
I liked the hotel overall. The location is a bit farther from downtown proper, making walking tiring when you go both ways. I did like that they have parking underground, but it is an added cost. The Roam bus does pick up and drop off nearby, so that is helpful. The room was quiet and I appreciate that.

I think the location being a little walk from downtown is actually perfect. You’re removed from the hustle and bustle, but still a quick enough walk away, as well as accessible to Banff busses. And, it’s very easy to find street parking there (despite being there during peak season).
The hotel is run well and the staff are excellent, they were always ready and willing to help with no fuss.
Great location. Room was very comfortable and quite big. We had 4 adults and fit nicely.
