This hotel, located in the center of Montréal’s business district, is 4 minutes' walk from Bonaventure Station. All rooms are equipped with a computer with free WiFi access. Walking distance to a lot of places from Chinatown to Old Montreal.
Location, decor, cleanliness, kind staff, breakfasts
The front desk staff were welcoming. The location is just up the street from the metro stop at Place d’Armes so we could easily get to OSHEAGA on the first day and the tennis tourney the second day. It’s also where they direct you to park your car since there is no space at the hotel. The underground parking lot is easy to access and I think was actually cheaper than what we’ve paid elsewhere in town during previous trips. We asked for a quiet room during booking and presumably got one since we didn’t have any issues with noise during our stay. Breakfast isn’t fancy but it’s free and there are more than enough options to keep you happy unless you require hot eggs, meat, waffles, etc. There is also a self-serve coffee bean grinder/espresso machine that makes a decent americano!
The room was excellent! I was very impressed with the environmental measures that the Hotel exercises to contribute to reducing garbage and carbon footprint. The continental breakfast was delicious. I would just suggest changing some items a little on alternate days for those staying in the hotel for multiple nights.
