Really off the society in the middle of the jungle perfect place to relax with the sound of the river
A beautiful home in the middle of the Colombian jungle, right next to a flowing river so that you are immersed right into nature. Very quaint and quiet, with the nearest neighbor being a pretty good hike away. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept better here than I did in my hotel in the city!
Marius is an amazing man and an even better host! He did so much for my partner and I, including helping arrange all transportation to and from his casa along with providing some of the best tea I have ever had, and some wine. Staying here was one of the best experiences of my Colombia trip, and one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed!
Incredible location right in the middle of the jungle surrounded by amazing views and so much nature, which we loved. Marius is such a helpful and responsive host and even left us free range eggs for our arrival. The kitchen is probably one of the best rental kitchens I've ever had with so many utensils, blender, pots and pans, actually sharp knives and a massive water filter so we always had drinking water. Also a combined washer and dryer so that was super useful. The house itself is really lovely, rustic and well put together with hammocks for chilling during the day, a projector for watching movies in the evening (great feature) and a massive double bed with a mosquito net. Cool to be able to swim in the natural pool in the river as well.
Great accommodation (kitchen, comfy bed, hammocks), the river, it’s simply perfect! Marius is a very responsive and thoughtful host.
The house is just amazing, it’s in the middle of the jungle. It’s very spacious and filled with many lovely details and paintings. There are small pathways and trails to multiple hikes and rural places. There are indigenous Kogi villages very close by and the owner of this astonishing place are happy to organize day trips led by locals. I leaned a lot about the traditional indigenous culture. I let was one of the most authentic places I have ever been to. Thank you so much!
