I spent two nights at hotel Zamay in July 2023. Price through booking was very competitive. My room was basic (no windows), but was clean, had A/C, a (cold water) shower (you don't really need warm water in Santa Marta!). My bed was comfortable, with clean sheets, and the WiFi always worked spotless. 24h attendance.
In the main hall there is a small swimming pool, with a shower. The included breakfast is sufficient: fruit with eggs, arepa and coffee/juice. Location close to the main sights, going out area and bus station/market.
The staff was helpful and friendly: they stored my luggage safely for 3 nights during my visit at the Tayrona park, and at my return allowed me a quick shower before leaving and called me a taxi at the standard price.
Very helpful staff, I was sick badly (Dengue) and they helped me alot.
we had to stay 1 day but it the end stayed 5. a love is new and all workers are sooooo good. it is clean and location is perfect as it is close to everything but no noise at all. bed is comfortable, room is big and bright.
Clean hotel very close to the city centre. Very convenient for a short stay in Santa Marta.
