This place lived up to the positive reviews. You feel like you're off in the country but you're within walking distance to everything. The grounds are lush and well-tended, breakfast is awesome, and the staff was super nice and helpful. My cabin, #8, was compact and somewhat spare -- no coffee maker, could have used a few extra electrical outlets -- but I liked the rustic simplicity of it, and especially the view of the "forest" outside the window overlooking the deck; I felt like I was in a treehouse.

Really loved staying at Arco Iris for our family visit to Monteverde. Very comfortable, great location, excellent breakfast and overall value!

Arco Iris Lodge exceeded my expectations. The property itself is beautiful and tranquil. I had my own cabin with a private balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering plenty of tips and providing answers to any questions. Somehow it manages to quiet and peaceful while also being so close to restaurants/bars/stores, etc. If I ever come back to Monteverde I will be staying here again.

Adorable hotel, with cabins that feel like they are in the woods, not in the middle of town. Easy access to the hiking and activities in Monteverde, close walk into town. Staff are friendly, breakfast is great.
