clean, felt safe had a guard up all night, clean small room with privite bathroom. staff helped us get checked in and was able to pay them I'm cash when we got there. overall a good experience.
Just about everything. Staff, especially the owner Oscar were great and hospitable. Rooms were basic but clean and comfy. Shower was very spacious. This place is one of those where you don't expect much but get pleasently surprised.
If your path takes you to Los Chiles, this is your place.
We arrived at the los tabillas border crossing, hoping to find a taxi to los chilis. There were several busses but none wanted to stop in Los Chiles so we gave the hotel heliconia owner a call. 2 taxis showed up within minutes to take the 8 of us to the hotel. Muchas gracias!!
