A great spot in a beautiful location. The hotel has a great view of the surrounding scenery. We saw so much just sitting at the breakfast bar - including a hummingbird. The beach is pretty much private (apart from macaws!) and stunning. Food was great too as well as the staff. Don’t hesitate to book. Our stay was a great start to our family holiday and one we will always remember.

This is a good hotel in a lovely spot. The staff are welcoming and attentive. If you have a car it’s a good place for Drakes Bay adventures. Lovely family business. Great bird watching

Excellent location, great staff, good cook, swimmingpool with a view on the ocean, room with a balcony in the middle of the jungle. Emerged in birds and wild life. Great daytrips to the ocean.

Every meal was superb. The chef was amazing. Very fresh, healthy, flavorful food presented in a beautiful way. Victor, the waiter, was wonderful. He made us feel welcome, always happy with a smile and eager to please. He did a great job. The owner & her son were very kind and did everything possible to make us feel at home. We also loved the 2 cats that hung out in the lobby. The grounds were beautiful. The buildings gorgeous. Nice refreshing pool with the most amazing view. We could sit on the pool deck and watch the wildlife. We borrowed binoculars, but there was also a spotting scope available. Transport back and forth to the Drake Bay airport was free, which was very kind. There is just so much to say about our stay ... truly something we will remember forever.

We loved the jungle like atmosphere but comfort and luxury of our own cabin. The jungle itself is beautiful and then they have added a lot of smaller trees, plants and flowers. Pool is nice and overlooking the jungle and the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing at any spot on the property - it’s amazing! Your own private beach is a 15 minute walk down a hill. And it’s empty! Lots of animal and bird sightings - sloth, monkeys, macaws, parrots and other beautiful birds. The restaurant was really good, some of the dishes I claimed were the best food I’ve had in years. And it’s a one to two minute walk from the cabin! It’s about a 15 minute drive from town and the tours, which is fine. One of the family members will drive and pick you up for any of your tours! The owner Patricia and daughter Maripaz really made our trip! As well as their family and the restaurant team - Joi, Victor and Douglas. We miss them!
