What a gem of a Bnb! The grounds and pool are lovely and well maintained. It's all very tranquil. Our room was modern, spacious, and clean with a super comfy bed. A variety of birds were our morning wake-up call - it is Costa Rica! We also heard and saw howler monkeys here in the early evening. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, a smoothie, eggs, gallo pinto, and more. JP, the host, was so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, he gave us a tour in his tuki tuki of the local beaches, Samara, where to park our rental car in the busy town and good places to eat. Thanks, JP! We would definitely stay here again.

This lodge is excellent. Great staff, breakfasts, pool is clean and refreshing, the room has beautiful tile throughout, and only about 1 km to beach and stores. With only 4 rooms rented it is not congested rather more intimate. I would definitely book this again.

JP's (owner) pride in Tuki Tuki is evident. It's clean, well maintained and quiet, located away from the congestion of downtown Samara. It was wonderful to hang out in the lovely pool and enjoy breakfast on the patio each morning, listening to howler monkeys. From day 1, JP welcomed us to the Tuki Tuki family, and we very much appreciated his generosity, including rides and tours in his Tuk Tuk!

JP went out of his way to make me feel welcome. He took time to show me around Samara and introduced me to people. He gave me useful tips on apps for music and the tide. Thanks for your hospitality!

Hasel made great breakfast for us each day. Hazel and JP did so many extra tasks.. we are so grateful for the hospitality. Miss stay with them already.
