Jaguar Rescue Center is 1.7 mi from the accommodations. aWà Beach Hotel provides accommodations with a bar, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. Four different types of room will surprise the visitor, energy, color and design fused in a very special way A buffet breakfast is available daily at the hotel. The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at aWà Beach Hotel.

Had an incredible time at Awa! Such a great location in the middle of nature and right by some beautiful beaches. The property was clean, the food was great, the rooms were excellent, and the staff were so kind. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and liked the variety that it offered. The coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner, but also ate at some incredible restaurants nearby including El Refugio (recommended to us by hotel staff), Selvin, and Zaika. The staff was incredible and so attentive to our every needs. They gave us some incredible recommendations and helped booked activities including a Cahuita hike and transport to the airport. The beaches nearby were beautiful and some of the best in the area. I look forward to returning to Awa the next time we come to Costa Rica!
Everything! The hotel is located right on a beautiful clean beach. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff was incredible, every single person and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
We liked how secluded the property was and the natural theme that the resort had adopted. You can walk on to the beach and use the cabanas and beach chairs. Drinks and food can be ordered onto the beach from the restaurant. We saw sloths and several beautiful birds on the property just hanging out. Highly recommend. Please follow location instructions. The place can be hard to find but thats the beauty of it. Restaurant Selvin was next to the property which was also great.

I can speak indefinitely about how beautiful the property is and about the unique location on the best beach in the area. It wouldn’t have been the same without all the efforts of the staff.
Staying in AWA allows you to experience the wildlife of Costa Rica without leaving your hotel. Howler monkeys , sloths , beautiful frogs and birds are hanging out right over you head :)
