Отель Madilao Hotel, Луанг-Прабанг, Лаос

We had a fantastic stay at Madilao! The hotel is fairly new, with spacious rooms, large and incredibly comfortable beds, and an excellent shower. The pool is amazing, and the gym and breakfast were both great as well. We initially stayed for a week and enjoyed it so much that we returned for another two nights. Although it’s about a 10/15 minute drive to the city center, getting there is super easy thanks to the free shuttle service offered several times a day, or you can book a private transfer without any hassle. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Madilao, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Everything was just spot-on.

The facilities are amazing: buildings, gardens, restaurant, pool, gym... everything is charming and well designed. Service: even though it was new year time, and they were most probably very tired, all the staff was present and caring. We really appreciated them going extra mile preparing a late informal dinner for us, after restaurant opening hours. The owner were around and you can feel their dedication and desire to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction (e.g. free upgrade). The food was really tasty also, with fruits front the garden on the table. Beds are hard and really comfy if you like this type of mattresses.

Property was only a few years old and in excellent shape with a beautiful design and layout in a relaxing garden setting with a lovely pool, gym area and a great restaurant open all day until 9pm. Free use of their bicycles for a 15 min ride into town. Most comfortable place we stayed in Laos over 3 weeks, everything is organized and all the staff are most exceptional. The layout of the buildings provide excellent privacy to their guests, the location is outside of the tourist area so very quiet and only a 5 min drive on their nightly shuttle to the historic Old Town and the room is big, the bed is comfy, the shower works excellent with hot water( we learned not to take that for granted in Laos) and had everything you need to relax with a breakfast that was included cooked fresh daily and with lots of choices. Can’t say enough about it-made our five night stay in Luang Prabang a most wonderful and positive stay and travel experience.

Breakfast was good. The noodle soup Pho we ordered for dinner tasted very good. Nice ambience.

Everything was exceptional about this hotel. We stayed 10 nights at Madiolao and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was cozy and clean and had a nice balcony. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and a very pleasant pool. The breakfast was superb and we had a few other great meals during our stay at its restaurant. Currently, it takes a 45min to walk to the old town. The hotel provides free bicycles and a free shuttle once a day.
