Availability of reception staff.
Although pricey, the laundry service was excellent.
Loved the free tea, coffee and fruit, but if you don't like black coffee, the lack of creamer was too often a problem.
Room and bed were generally comfortable.
Amazing staff. They show everything around the building and give tips on what to do in Riga.

Everything is clean. The bathroom even smells good, which is a miracle for hostels.

This is a fun hostel in Winter when everything closes in Old Town. There is a yard out back where you can smoke. It's an easy walk from the bus/train station. There are close options for groceries and quick shopping. It's a good value.
Nice hostel. They have free coffee and oranges (not really a breakfast, but good to have those).
