If you would like to stay in an old Latvian home, this is the ideal place. The apartment is above the owner's home and candy store. Everything worked well. Friendly hosts. WIFI was good. Biscuits, jam and candy were left for us! We used the kitchen to prepare breakfasts which worked well. The apartment is within walking distance of all sights in town and we used it as a base to explore the west coast of Latvia. Restaurants and grocery stores are also nearby. We were able to park in the back garden which was convenient. Great value!

Rustic architecture. Friendly and helpful hostess. It’s close to the town and attraction places. It took me around 15 minutes to get to the red brick bridge.

Beautiful historic town. It had a private entrance. Pleasant folks, showed us the fresh catch of the day being prepared to be smoked. Very quiet, the water was hot quickly when used to shower or wash hands. Plenty of space for a couple and children. There was some tasty jam left for us. Plenty of towels and clean slippers. The floors and staircase were interesting. I would stay there again for low key and vintage type experience. Would stay there again.

Everything looked just like on the pictures, the apartment was clean and very warm (we were a bit worried about that as the building is old and it was chilly outdoors during our stay).

Awesome old house with very nice apartment. Shower and kitchen facilities were great. Easy self check in. Great location. Loved the atmosphere, would highly recommend. Free coffee, tea, biscuits and homemade jam!
