The Monk's Bunk Kaunas is located in the city promenade, close to the Old Town, 1.2 mi away from Kaunas Castle. It offers dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi. All rooms come with bunk beds and are basically furnished, with a mirror, chairs and a locker for each guest. There are shared bathrooms with a hairdryer and towels available, as well as a spacious common room with a large TV, a library and board games. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Location was excellent.
Common areas were large and well maintained.
Clean, friendly and respectful staff, good locations and I got some recommendations from the staff that were asserted to what I was looking for. I really enjoyed my stayed and I would recommend this place for sure! Nice for solo-travelers or going with friends.
Very friendly staff, and in a great location. It's super cozy and homey, with none of the modernist garbage you see in so many lodging options these days. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and the common area is nice. The dorm rooms are large and don't feel cramped at all, and the lockers are great. Everything you want to see in town is a short walk away. And it's easy to get to the bus/train station. There is a very large grocery store less than 10 minutes walk. And there are lots of bars, restaurants, and cafes in the area. There is also a balcony for smokers. Definitely your best hostel option in Kaunas.
Staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, giving loads of tips and places to visit. Great communal areas for meeting others staying in the hostel especially for solo travellers.
