I can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment. The location is absolutely fantastic—on one hand, it's very close to shops and restaurants, and on the other, it's just steps from the beach. Through the garden and straight into the sea! The view from the terrace is a dream, both in the morning and in the evening, although you should definitely enjoy the sunset directly from the beach.
The apartment itself is very well equipped, offers plenty of space, and everything technical works flawlessly. The housekeeper is extremely well organized, does an excellent job, and is also very helpful beyond that.
Looking back, we wish we had spent a longer part of our trip there.
We loved everything about this place—the apartment, the area, the beautiful view, and the warm hospitality from the owner and the cleaning lady.
The apartment was modern and thoughtfully designed, offering everything we needed. It was perfect for our family of six adults. The layout was excellent, with spacious open areas and three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, making it very comfortable for everyone.
The area and location couldn’t have been better. Tamarin has everything you need in a short distance.
We recommend this place to everyone and would love to come back!
The view from the apartment made the stay. You can sit all day on the terrace looking at the beach and ocean, especially during sunsets when the sky shimmers with colors, and before the noon when the water is the most turquoise (or at least that's our impression). The beach is almost like a private one, we did not meet too many people there during our stay. In general, the location is very quiet and peaceful. In addition, in close proximity there is a grocery store, coffeehouse, supermarket, gas station and several restaurants. The apartment is spacious and equipped with everything you need. We were in Mauritius in three different places, about 7 days in each and this is definitely the best place we were during this trip. I definitely recommend it.
Absolute top quality apartment, in a stunning location. Calm, quiet and far better in reality than the photographs; immaculate, totally equipped with everything, super fast wi-fi, easy secure parking, easy and gracious access…and a massive sea- front deck with a view we never tired of. So glad we chose Caplage for our base to explore southwest Mauritius for a few days, was perfect in every way, and an oasis of serenity. The location can’t be beat, easy drives to explore the hills, parks and beaches of the southwest, excellent restaurants within 100 metres, and a quiet beach right in front. Massive new Tamarin Supermarket a few minutes drive (well stocked with excellent wine!). We would give Caplage 11 out of 10 if that was possible - easily the most impressive property we have had the great pleasure to stay in for years. Thank you!
