The room was clean and had a great vibe. The AC worked great and there was hot water. The owners are a very nice couple who treat you like family. They have all the information about Sarawak and may even go out to grab food with you. We had a wonderful time here. Thanks so much :)
Clean and Fan works well, it is cool enough even there is no ac in the single room.
Merry and Martin are very good host.
Merry took me to her friend's Sarawak laksa place and ordered me a special laksa with extra prawns.
The place is very safe and have a lot places to eat nearby.
It is walking distance to water front.
Friendly and helpful host that provided plenty of tourism information. Although it was not in the centre of Kuching, it was still close enough to walk to, especially along the front. Tea and coffee facilities and nice semi outdoor showers. 7-11 and nice food places close by.
The hosts are great. They actually moved us to a better room (without us saying anything) after our first night as it had been noisy outside, so the 2nd room had better soundproofing. The hostel is basic but nice with a good communal area with couches and cushions. Nice showers, and free hot drinks.
