The location is the treasure here- surrounded by lush green hills and the sea is clear and clean with a fine nearly white sandy beach.
We stayed in the garden suites which are roomy and well equipped.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
We truly enjoyed the dives and the snorkelling sessions arranged.
Amazing island with white sandy beaches teaming with life. Snorkeling with sea turtles was definitely the highlight of our vacation in Malaysia. The facilities are beautiful and the staff is super kind and helpful.

I must say bravo to the Taaras staff! It's fairly common to meet a few nice staff, but in Taaras, most staff if not all are wonderful - well done!
From the jetty to the resort was well organized. Checkin was quick and comfortable done at the lobby sofa. Room was ready even though we arrived a few hours earlier. Both rooms that we got were spotless. Strong Wifi connection. The casual wild monkeys roaming around the veranda was a fun moment for the kids. At the restaurant almost every time the kids will ask for chocolate drink which the staff happily made for them even though its not in the buffet menu. The yoga and Zumba session was brilliant, the kids and wife loves it.
Again, massive thanks to the staff for making our vacation such a lovely moment. Staff at the jetty, buggy drivers, cleaners, front desk, restaurants, and to the organizer of the new year celebration - you guys rocks!
