Grounds were nice, we enjoyed that there were lots of different pools and areas to go. We aren't big party people so liked that they had a pool with activities and music but other pools that were quieter and surrounded by jungle. Beach was nice and loved that it was it's own little cove so we didn't get anybody outside the hotel walking around or selling us stuff. Being able to snorkel was a plus, not super pretty but still lots of fish and we saw some stingrays. Nice change from just swimming in the ocean. Last few days lots of seaweed came in so made it less desirable to be at the beach but not the hotel's fault. The rooms were very tired and needed updating. Shower didn't drain well, lots of dents/chips in furniture/walls. Shampoo and soap were only toiletries. We asked for lotion and told us they'd get us some but never did. We also traveled with another couple and we both had issues with thermostat. Their fan didn't work half the time, our temp couldn't be moved higher than 19C, theirs couldn't go below 19C. Just in general, everything needed update. The Concierge outside our room could only help with dinner reservations and told us to talk to front desk anytime we needed anything. I didn't like that we had to make dinner reservations - we only were able to get 8:30 dinners so missed all the shows. Buffet wasn't expansive and same 5 fruits. Others I've stayed at had massive buffets with lots of variety. Staff was not very friendly - they seemed tired and annoyed whenever we needed anything.

Cleanliness, service , big rooms and location is great Food quality is not good, very few choices for vegetarians in restaurants.
