The Hacienda Los Laureles Oaxaca is a delightful refuge, nestling amid aging cypresses and colorful gardens in the heart of this provincial district, close to the ruins of San Felipe del Agua. The boutique hotel rooms, each have a distinct Mexican flavor. Cool whitewashed walls, terracotta floors, and wrought-iron furniture lend a rustic authenticity, which is combined with warm woods and bold Mexican fabrics to create a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant Los Cipreces features an exciting selection. The hotel is located in Oaxaca, the distance from the hotel to the center: is 3.2 mi, a colonial jewel in the south of Mexico, declared by UNESCO as part of the world's cultural heritage; a city with 450 years of post-Columbian and Spanish history and more than 3,000 years of pre-Columbian history.

The breakfast and dinner were both delicious with a great wine selection. The grounds were impeccably kept. The room was perfectly comfortable and the bathroom was great, all was very clean. The staff were professional and friendly, attending to our every need. Always there when you need them and never overbearing. Returning here after a day exploring Oaxaca and surrounding areas was a highlight of every day.
The hotel was very beautiful, quiet, and had all the services we needed. It was not too far from the centro area and offered a quieter neighborhood. We felt safe knowing the hotel is gated with security. Hotel is very well kept and clean. Staff was extremely helpful when arranging transportation and assisting with luggage, room service, and spa reservations. We dined at the restaurant a few times which was convenient.
The staff was like family. They look after you like you are royalty. The spa was available when we needed them and the experience was great. And the food, the food was so delicious and reasonable.
Lovely converted hacienda in northern suburb. Great getaway from heat and crowding of downtown Oaxaca City.
Our party stayed in two junior suites. Not really suites but had terrific light and privacy, generously sized bedroom and bathroom -- we were very happy with them
Beautiful grounds, spacious room, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were very good. Friendly staff who helped arrange taxis each time we wanted to go to Oaxaca Centro —a 15 minute trip.
