Liked the choices of pools. Liked the view and nearness of the ocean. Liked the washer/dryer. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

The appartment is nice, and worked well for our family ( two adults and two teenagers). There are several small plunge pools in the building complex, and access to all are included. There is beach access via a pool area. The beach to the right just in front of the Oasis resort is very nice, and the area to the left (close to the beach hut) has some nice snorkeling spots. Approximately 500m past the resort, there is a nice beach bar (the Beached Bikini) that serves good drinks and food. We had many meals there. Walking the other way (left facing the ocean) is possible on a somewhat rocky path. We walked for approximately 1 km, until we reached another beach with palm trees. Almost all the way to the Akumal wild cenote. There are no restaurants here, so bring all you need.
