It was absolutely beautiful here! I stayed for a week and the water was lovely, the food and drinks were great. I have no complaints. I never write reviews for anything, but my stay was so incredible that I had to write a review. The staff was all really nice. As someone who only speaks English, the staff was still kind and was patient when trying to use Google Translate. The woman who ran Villa Santuario was one of the nicest women I've ever met. She made us feel at home and welcomed and was incredibly helpful with any questions we had.
The hotel was amazing.The place looks run down in some of the photos, but in person it's great, and clean and much better than that I was expecting. The host is super helpful and friendly. The location is far from the city, but if you want a more secluded, and quiet area this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you refer city life, choose somewhere else. This place is great for those who want to just chill and enjoy the hotel.
We had a lovely stay. The staff, gardens and lakefront beds are wonderful. Our room was nice and quiet. Breakfast and dinner were Yum! We felt safe and calm.
Really fun taking the free kayaks onto the lake.
The villa Santaurio was gorgeous! The gardens and landscaping were lovely. The food from the restaurant was so delicious! Chili Relleno was perfect. Enjoying the private pier and views from our bungalow/cabin. It was a once in a lifetime experience and a wonderful way to connect to nature and enjoy the wonders and healing energy of the lagoon.
It has a beautiful and quiet view of the lagoon with ample seating. It is more like glamping without windows, only screens on the windows.
There were no loud noises or animals waking us up, it was a nice quiet site with amazing views.
