This is a beautiful place in a nice neighborhood with a great staff . It is peaceful , clean , you can use the kitchen , there are cultural activities , books to read and a lot of nice people to talk to . I could have stayed there for a month .

What luck to have booked this room at Ruby's! The staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating (for example, they prepared breakfast for me an hour earlier than normal as I had to leave early...). They give good advice and know the city well. The establishment is clean, the room is nicely decorated and the mosquito net is in good condition. There was even a film night! It's a great place to stay, and it's a shame we didn't get to stay here.

Honestly I wasn't expecting a nice hostel in Nampula, but Rubys surprised me. Electric-heated showers ensure hot water any time of day. The tents that contain the bunks are quite clean and seal well enough to keep out mosquitos. The bathroom is also very clean and all the water worked. Staff were also super nice and took me to the train at 4am (!!)

Nice, spacious room and house in general with a big garden. The kitchen has all you need. Some cultural activities happen there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ate there the best matapa I had in Mozambique

Great value for money. Very nice and helpful staff. Beware that Ruby's offers films and little concerts two or three times a week, starting at 19:00, ending at 21:30 hrs. That time can be a bit noisy. But from 21:30 on it is quiet.
