So glad we chose this property vs one of the camps in the park. Arrived with moderate expectations and were extremely positively surprised. A superb outdoor grilling and cooking area while enjoying the sunset. Couldn’t have been any cleaner or better equipped, comfortable beds and a very kind and knowledgeable host. This place should be booked every single day of the year. Thanks for hosting us, Eddy!
Eddy, the owner, was great. We liked the modern little house set in a rural environment in the family compound. Far (17 kms) from town, but close enough to Etosha to serve as a base to go back and forth to the park.
The guesthouse was incredibly clean and prepared with everything you could ever need. Big fridge, microwave and air fryer, large flat screen TV with a big couch, beautiful walk-in shower, and a fully functioning roomy bathroom. Two bedrooms with large comfortable beds, (one room has 2 beds a queen and a twin) an outside kitchen with sink and a grill, a washer to wash your clothes, this place is truly amazing for the price and how close it is to Etosha. Eddy went above and beyond and actually drove us throughout Etosha for 3 days straight so we could enjoy the views! He met us in Omuthiya and then drove with us to the guesthouse (we arrived 2 and a half hours late and we were still greeted like an old friend) He was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us out more than we could have asked for. A definite recommendation to stay here for anyone going to Etosha or traveling through Omuthiya
Very nice farm stay property located out of the town and with good vehicle entry access to the north west of Etosha game park - and also the rivers up towards the Angola border .
Eddy is an excellent host and travelled from Windhoek to ensure my comfortable stay
Comfortable facilities and excellent kitchen!
Would be very well suited and well priced for one or two couples travelling together in a 4 WD vehicle
It is a v. good and relatively different experience to staying in conventional game camps and well worth experiencing the different lives lived here
Eddy was a great host, he made our stay very easy.
