Really special place, not comparable to standard hotels. Out of the way location and simple rooms, but the atmosphere is homely friendly informal and caring. The place abuts an open area with various animals roaming in it. The whole place looks like a small garden of eden. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Well well worth it

Uitkijk Farm is a little gem! We enjoyed everything about our stay here - from the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the delicious lamb stew and braai. The quality of the meat was incredible. Breakfasts were also delicious. The location is great with view down the hill of many types of animals. There are 2 pools to chill out by. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Many thanks in particular to Susan who made us feel very welcome and to Francois who helped us out with car trouble and braaied an amazing dinner for us. We will definitely come back should we ever be back in the area!
