The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The gardens are beautiful. The room was large and comfortable. The restaurant staff was so nice and good tasty. We had to ask to have the hot water turned on but they did it immediately and it was perfectly hot. The bathroom areas shows its age but are fine.

We stayed at this hotel 3 times now, with every visit to Lumbhini. It's most convenient to visit Lumbhini ,Thai and Maya temples just 10 mins Tuktuk ride away. Built on Japanese standard many years ago, the hotel is old but rooms are comfortable and the grounds are safe. The on-site restaurant is clean and food is cooked to international standards by old chef trained since Japanese managment. We ate all our meals at the hotel and the menu offers Japanese, Thai and Indian/Nepalese dishes.

It is definitely the best place to stay in Lumbini! Amazing food (both breakfast and dinner were impeccable), nice atmosphere and walking distance to World Peace Pagoda. Staff was very friendly and they offered a lift to the airport for a reasonable price
