My second time staying here. I really like the room as it's very comfortable and also has space for yoga practice. Location is quiet for thamel, central location for thamel, hot water in shower, comfortable beds and lovely hosts.
Directly in the heart of the Thamel. Located in a narrow alley, a little bit difficult to find. Very friendly staff. They have a nice rooftop terrace, hot water. Felt very secure. They close the front door between 10pm and 7 am. But there is always someone from the reception during nighttime to let you in or out. They can also provide extra blankets if you wish. We visited in January. Big advantage: it is calm and quite during the night, for a good sleep. Otherwise Thamel is very noisy.
This is an honest establishment where the proprietors offer to show me my room before check in to manage my expectations. It was also clarified that the water is only warm from between 8am to 8pm. Hot water was always available upon request. There is a roof top area for those who would like to go up to catch a breather. They were also one of the rare establishments which will gladly accept USD as payment as per what booking.com says payment should be. Most others in Nepal insisted getting paid in Nepalese Rupees on the highest possible conversion rate, but here the owners are gracious to offer what the street money changers are offering. The stay comes with a nice comfy bath towel which is highly absorbent. If one were to return after 10pm, one can ring the doorbell which sounds like some sort of a non-irritating bird call. The owners can also help to call a taxi on the app for travel to the airport which cost just 600Rs. Totally honest.
The place is in a perfect area directly in thamel. We could leave our luggage there. Friendly staff they help for any time. The check-in was very simple and the people there were also very friendly and helpful. It was clean and in the middle of Thamel.
Nice hotel with a fair price located in the heart of Thamel. Room is simple but super comfy, clean and tidy. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they stored my baggage for a week while I was away and I really appreciated that. I did enjoy my stay. Nepal is blissful!! Thanks a lot
