I don’t know how to thank this place enough. I stayed there 4 times in over 2 months. They treated me like a family, I felt like home every time I was coming back from my treks. They allowed me to keep my extra luggage with them for the whole 2 months and kept it safe. They were giving me 2 big mugs for my friend and I to drink some tea. I am so grateful for everything! They were always giving me good tips on how to get to Bandipur or to Salleri or to Syabru Bensi. Helped us to find a good laundry place nearby. In general this place is in a quiet area, only 5 min walking from all the major places in Thamel. Room is nice, shower is hot, view from the balcony is amazing, roof top is so chilled. I can talk about this place for ages. Highly recommend it and would always come back! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!

Feel like this is such a hidden gem in Kathmandu. Family that owned this place was so kind. Lobby was nice with a bookshelf and nice selection. Rooms were comfortable, showers were good. It is tucked away in side streets so there was much less street noise, but I also felt safe at night as there were some businesses. I would absolutely stay here again and wish I had found it sooner!

Everything. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse was our base camp while staying in Nepal. There is a great hospitality, the stuff is very friendly and helped to organize different kinds of excursions. We had a spacious, clean room. Kathmandu Peace Guesthouse is located in a quiet side street, has a nice roof top garden with view to Swayambhunath and multiple breakfast/lunch/dinner opportunities in the neighborhood.

The location was perfect! Great little place in the heart of Tamil ... was quiet and a lovely rooftop area to sit and chill. The owner and his wife were super sweet and kind. I would def suggest this place, and I will be staying here next time I come to Kathmandu.
