This was my second stay at this property and I would go back again. Very large, cheerful and comfortable room. I love the big shower and having the coffee machine in the room.
We stay at the Vic often because of the good location and the modern decoration in the rooms, plus the fact they have airco, which many hotels in Leiden do not. In all honesty, that's probably the biggest selling point for us.
This is a modern, well decorated, very well-located, fully automated hotel. The rooms are well-sized, clean, quiet, with very (VERY) comfortable beds. The breakfast is a full buffet served at the sister hotel next door (The Golden Tulip). The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes walking to downtown Leiden or to the University Medical Center. Fantastic finding. If I need to return to Leiden, I would make sure to stay at the VIC again!
Perfect location right near the train station. We were only staying 1 night before flying out of Amsterdam. Property is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was perfect : Very near the train station and at a few minutes walking from the center, although the hotel is at a busy road, the rooms are not noisy at all. Located next to Golden Tulip Hotel who we found out later owns the place. Rooms are modern, clean and colorful
