Casa Maya was a nice stay, comfortable and clean rooms. It's in a great location I was surprised that it's only a min walk to the beach. There's plenty of food options in the restaurants nearby, also the hostel has a shared kitchen.
Eric, his wife and staff were super polite and helpful, they were always down to help, which made my stay even better.
I stayed 3 days, the scenery around the hostel it's really beautiful, surrounded by greenery, good place to stay if you want to relax.
Easy to get there, it's only 15 mins trip from San Juan del Sur downtown and the road is new.
I went with my family (including two 12-year-old children). It was our first time staying in a container, and let me tell you, we were surprised by how spacious and well-equipped they were. We even had two full bathrooms inside the same container/room. We used both at the same time and had no complications.
There's no noise, the beds are large, very comfortable, and clean. The location is strategically located just a few meters from the beach.
I even left my camera behind, and Erick (the host), very attentive and honest, sent me a message to tell me about my camera (I hadn't even realized I'd left it behind). We finished our trip to Nicaragua, and 5 days later I returned for my camera, which was safely stored and back in my hands.
These days, it's hard to find honest people, and Erick is one of them.
Highly recommended place, excellent in terms of price and quality.

The check-in process was easy and we felt welcomed the entire time.
The beach is very close to the property and doesn't get a lot of people, which makes this paradise to just stay and chill.
Owners are amazingly nice and helpful, the kitchen is well equipped, bedroom is modern and comfy, the hotel is so close to the beach, i liked the rooftop hammock space, everything was perfect !
located next to beach, container construction was interesting, hosts were very helpful
