I think Raindance is a must stay in Ometepe. Its facilities are great, with lots of common areas, rooms are huge and it has a pool. It also hosts a party on Wednesdays so it's convenient to be staying there if you want to go. It's very social, everyone I knew was staying there. I was between this hostel and another, but ultimately chose Raindance because of the mosquito-net cages, and am happy to have done so. Ometepe has many bugs and animals and I felt safe from any unwanted visitors during the night. That peace of mind is amazing.
The staff was great. Helped us organize a great horse riding tour. Room was cool, close to nature

We stayed in one of the new private rooms which had a bathroom. Nice distance from the party on a Wednesday so no issues with sleeping. Staff were super helpful. Easy to rent a scooter at the accomodation to get to all the main sights.
