The unit, while being a basic motel unit, provided a comfortable bed and was warm (the owner had turned the heater on before I arrived, which was much appreciated!) There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The unit was in the middle of the block, so it was sheltered from the main road traffic noise nearby and I slept well. TV and WiFi worked well. About ten minutes walk away was a selection of good restaurants for dinner, and a short walk further put me into the main shopping street.
The unit was very clean, bed very comfortable with good pillows. Towels clean and fluffy.
The host was very welcoming and happily accommodated a request to extend our stay.
It was quite ok for one night, clean, bed comfy, heating fine. The lady manager was very friendly and very helpful and even gave us some cartons and tape for packing our cartons of stuff we wanted to freight from Timaru. She also let us extend our check out time. We were very grateful.
Owner is really helpful. Room was ready to go, set up and warm as we arrived late. A very cute comfy setup.
