Lovely view over the water.
Felt a little like being on a boat- large front deck and low ceilings.
Ample space.
Everything was marvellous. The view from every room was spectacular and having a store and restaurant next door made it impossible to leave. My husband made good use of the private jetty for fishing and caught quite a few lovely Snappers- he had the time of his life! Although the boathouse is gorgeous and the facilities top- notch, what really bowled us over were the extras we did not expect. All the thoughtful ideas to ensure their guests have the best time - from stocking different types of coffee and tea, to having bottled water ready for our arrival, to having fishing rods for our use. We booked it as a special treat for our son's 21st and loved it so much we will book it to celebrate my husband's birthday as well.
The location is very unique and with the new jetty attached will make it great fun, especially for families. The attention to detail with everything is fabulous. I can't fault the place. Even an outdoor plug to charge an EV with your own cord.

Unique and spacious, marine vibe accommodation over the water, next to the Opua car ferry dock. The Landing had everything we needed for a quiet and comfortable stay. Exceptional views and the grocery store and two restaurants were walking distance. The fish and chip shop was very good. A great location to explore the Bay of Islands area.
