Helpful staff and great room with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We are cycling around New Zealand. This location was in the perfect location for a stop for us. They had storage for our bicycle. It was 60 km from Franz Josef and 73 km to Hokitika. There was a Spot store just a block down the road for meals.

The room was comfortable, the bed was great and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Little kitchenette was well stocked

Location and situation were good. The layout of the site was good. There were walks immediately close to the site. There was a well stocked local shop and cafe/restaurant close at hand. There was an award winning butcher in the village. the village had a garage that sold fuel. We liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Any immediate maintenance that was brought to the attention of the staff was very quickly dealt with. There were free washing and drying facilities

Everything! The proprietors were very nice and helpful. We were on bicycle tour and they have things dialed in to support cyclists and non-cyclists alike. Washer and dryer are included for guests. Adequate storage to keep the bike safe and dry. The room was super well appointed for its size with table and chairs for 2, everything you need to self cater with the in room kitchen. We also enjoyed the grounds with the wooden figures.
