This is a long established motel. It's in a lovely location just by the marina which also has a supermarket and several restaurants. It has been renovated over the years, but I was surprised that there were no drawers or cupboards to unpack. Yes, I live out of my suitcase, but even so! The room was cold and felt a bit damp when I arrived in the evening and there was only a tiny oil filled radiator to heat the room (no wall air-con). The manager was happy to bring a more effective heater and I left it on overnight to keep warm. The kitchenette facilities were basic but adequate for my needs.

Silence, Clean, walking distance to coffee shop, super market & restaurant.

Best location for us. Halfmoon Bay marina is right there, grocery store easy walk, ferry terminal easy walk. We take the ferry to downtown Auckland. Gerry ride is scenic and fun.

The rooms are newly refreshed and the beds are super comfortable. It was very spacious for our family of four plus dog. There are good restaurants close by on the harbour. Overall, a lovely stay for our family and dog.

There is a ferry to downtown Auckland at Halfmoon Bay Marina, which is an easy walk. Best way to get downtown! Nice boat ride.
