The staff (I think he is the owner) was very friendly and accommodating! He exchanged coins for laundry when I messaged him via booking.com even after the office was closed. He also recommended a good cafe on the way to our next destination. The room was a bit tight but very well organized with a spacious private bathroom and a nice cute balcony.
The lodge was in a lovely situation and the bed was v comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony birdwatching. Stuart gave us succinct, great advice about water taxis, walking in Abel Tasman National park and eating out. We appreciated the availability of a washing machine.
The place is beautiful, very well set up and organized and feel eco-friendly. The location was great to reach the Abel-Tasman national park.
The owner here was super friendly and very helpful. The shared facilities were accommodating and well appointed. The property was beautiful and well maintained.
We loved the feeling of being in the middle of the forest on our balcony. The hosts are so lovely and helpful! This is a unique property that provided us with a totally different experience from motels, and apartments. We were definitely surrounded by nature.
