Staff were welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable

We booked the Pinot Villa Room #9, it was spacious, clean and warm with a lovely rural view, situated on a slightly busy road. Could do with a better way of presenting the modest continental breakfast facility, whilst the utilities were functional, it didnt reflect the manor in which this suite is marketed. We used the complimentary choice of wine, but when we went to have a complimentary wine tasting they had shut the cellar door half hour earlier than advertised , a group of 4 other people also turned away at the time as well. Externally the ground area needed a good going over, the deck/ balcony needs a bit of attention.

Good facilities. Probably only specific to us but would have been nice to have a light over the mirror in the bathroom for putting on makeup and a bathroom fan. Bathroom window great to defog but does not allow for privacy. We're trying to get ready for a wedding and needed these facilities.

Apparently a complimentary wine tasting at their vineyard was included with our rooms, but unfortunately we did not know about this until we checked in and it was already after the tasting room had closed. The woman who checked us in was very nice. The bed was comfortable. Each room had a nice back porch overlooking empty fields with two comfortable chairs and a small table.

We had two very different rooms here. The Pinot Suite was nice but a little aged. The vineyard suite was more modern and the couple who stayed there really liked it. The restaurant was good. Great location if you want to be in the vineyards.
