A little too far out from the main town of Matamata. Cell reception there was no existent. Was the next step up from a tent, was not impressed with the room facilities. Was reasonable. Guy served you as required. You got a basic cabin, I thought it had it's own toilet and shower but no, there was one shower and one toilet that serviced that particular block of cabins, toilet had dirty water in the bowl and from the sink taps. Toilet bowl had staining inside of it. This is a real pay as you go facility. Pay for your cabin, pay for your wifi, $40 per hour charge for private spa pool. Got my $40 back, handed the keys back after inspecting the cabin and told him that this was not what I was expecting, his reply was "really" not questions on why We were unhappy with the booking, or is there anything that we can do to change your mind. Left the premises and booked into a local motel in Matamata, The Maple, Clean, comfortable, well priced and the proprietor bent over backwards to make us feel at home.
