The hosts went over and above to make us welcome and help in any way possible. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was exceptional. The beds were extremely comfortable.
Beautiful setting, scrumptious breakfast , amazing and helpful hosts. I would highly recommend staying here. It’s the best place we stayed at in New Zealand. The views of the mountains and gardens are spectacular!!
We had an amazing stay with Gary and Robert. They are fantastic hosts who did their very best to accommodate us. The views, food, drinks and the room were excellent. One of our fondest memories from our trip to New Zealand.

The food is fresh, tasty made in the house and the chef baked yummy croissants. Next visit we must have dinner there as well!
What’s not to like! This fabulous country house is perfect. The rooms are exquisitely appointed, spotless and luxurious. The landscaping is amazing with every view a sensory sensation. As for the view, well it is almost indescribable as it changes like a gorgeous painting every time you look up. Gary and Robert have perfectly situated the house to take advantage of this extraordinary view.
In our mind though Gary and Robert are the piece de resistance of the entire experience. Warm, engaging intelligent and with a witty humorous way to turn a phase. We felt so welcome and so much at home in their company.
