This place was amazing. The hosts were great and you could tell from the moment you got there how much love n pride they put in this lodge. They thought of every little detail ,from books and activities when you walk in to all the amenities you could possibly need. The property was very well looked after ,so much knowledge about the area. We went to a concert up the road n we were told a trick about parking that saved us when driving out . We can't wait for our next visit. Thank you so much!
They really understate this property. The Ruru apartment is enormous, fully equipped and absolutely gorgeous. She is an artist (the studio is on site) and it shows in the decor. The grounds are beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast on the lawn overlooking the sea. It is essentially at the door of gorgeous Tawharanui regional park.
Great location as we used this as a base to do a bit of exploring. The grounds of the property were beautiful and it was so quiet. Every little extra was provided and the hosts were very friendly.
A very friendly welcome and a clean, tidy and comfortable apartment. Great facilities with loads of stuff to borrow if needed, eg games, snorkels etc.
Great location - near the regional park as well as Leigh, Matakana and Omaha etc. Amazing views. Lots of options for activities and equipment to borrow for these e.g. snorkels, boogie boards.
