Beverly, the host, was so welcoming and helpful! The bed was super comfortable and all the amenities very nice. The balcony was perfect for watching sunrise. We really enjoyed walking around the bay for breakfast.

High quality furnishings and fittings and generous provision of materials. It was very pleasant to be there without having to go elsewhere, although it was an easy stroll to the township and estuary beach. Longer walk to ocean beach.

My husband and I loved The Boat House! What a setting in the beautiful little town of Tairua. This is a large spacious guest house, with a balcony with an excellent ocean view. Tastefully, and very nicely furnished with everything we needed. Our only complaint is that we only planned one night to stay in Tairua. We would’ve loved to spend the week there! Our host Bev was so nice, and very accommodating.

Elegant separate unit with very nice touches. Vert tastefully done and owner was very helpful.

The Boat House was very clean and comfortable! It was also very private. We were able to do our laundry which was helpful after flying in from the states. Bev, the owner, was so nice. The location was perfect! We could walk to town for dinner. We would definitely stay here again!
