Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Felt like being welcomed by friends. Which was lovely after a long drive. Would definitely recommend and go back.little Teddy was a nice touch which our granddaughter who is also travelling loves. Teddy George is now travelling to the Abel Tasman!

The location was amazing, the staff couldn't be more helpful, the room was very comfortable, plenty of parking.

Loved our stay at this hotel . Mark the concierge was a brand ambassador for New Zealand . Excellent suggestions for restaurants polite and Graciousv. Matt att the reception checked us in gracious and kind we reached late after a delayed alpine train journey . Nicola was also so gracious . A very lovely hotel convenient to all sights . Lovely stay recommend to all . The graciousness of the staff speaks of wonderful leadership .

The staff were very helpful & kind. Sadly, our flight was changed and our stay at The George was shortened a bit. I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean, and inviting. The heated floors on the bathroom were very nice. When 8 make it back to Christchurch one day, I will definitely book a stay at The George. Thank you.
