Really friendly staff member who was kind and smiley and made you feel at home. I also loved being able to buy a bottle of wine, snacks, oj and pop at the reception area.
Right next to the beach, and 5 minutes from town, the location is perfect. There is a boardwalk a few metres away which takes you up and down the beach too, which we found delightful. A marvellous spot.
Gisborne is a fabulous city and Whispering Sands does it’s part, the amenities were great. Close to everything.

Located right on beautiful Waikanae Beach, Gisborne.
Love that it was a sheet cover over the bed quilt rather a never washed rug or bed spread.
