We stayed one night, the place is excellent, from the location, style, food. we will come back again if we are in Bergen

This hotel is centrally located, close to everything of interest to us including museums, restaurants, the fish market and waterfront, the funicular, and people watching. The place is really quirky in the best kind of way. We like these kinds of somewhat off-beat hotels, they make stays memorable and add an element of intrigue. We wondered: “Who had decorated this place?”
More specifically, we loved the eclectic decor. Quite over the top in a speakeasy, roaring twenties, art nouveau-ish kind of way. Our room was quite lovely, really comfortable, and the bathroom something to behold. Dinner was very good, although the servings small. The breakfast was amazing, delicious and abundant both in choice and portion sizes. We found our room a bit too warm, and the “evening concierge” fixed things up quickly and efficiently. Overall we really liked this place and should we every return to Bergen we would stay again in a heart beat.
Absolutely one of the most charming hotels I have ever been to.
This hotel is filled with charm and over the top fun. The room was great and access to the lounge was especially convenient, since we arrived on the early train. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating.
We were provided a breakfast to go on the morning we left. It was outstanding, as was all the food.
