Ideal location, picturesque small farm on a quiet road. Turkeys greet you. Vegetable gardens, chickens. Nice host and family. Cozy, quiet, comfortable apartment. Beautiful aurora, view from the windows. So nice I stayed here again on my way south. Nice diner in town. Fresh eggs for breakfast.
So many things...The apartment (perfect). The farm. The turkeys. The very old barn. The small town. The local diner. The aurora...beautiful in the clear, bright October night. The windows in the apartment are perfectly situated. Stayed here twice. On my way north, and on the way back south. Met some people at Kongsvinger Festning. They (Norwegian) have never seen the aurora. Showed the photos. And the booking info ;) Recommend. PS: fresh eggs and coffee.

Absolutely fantastic . This is a lovely farmhouse type set up with Chickens . Lovely water front and mountain view . Houses are slightly underground to keep warm .
Houses are made of wood , nice and warm . All amenities available like over / washer / books
Excellent location; owner was very friendly and helped us find good places for a day out. Cozy place, clean bedlinnen and towels; we enjoyed our stay very much. The owner kindly let us use fresh eggs and coffee. All in all, a sucessful stay and beautiful location with river...
