location, room size, bathroom, cleaning in the room, decoration, reception in upper floor, breakfast time-table and service was weak

it was very good price.. its a busy hotel and its big with several buildings attached.. to get clear directions to different bars and areas in the hotel it was a guessing game.. whoever asking (unless at the check in front desk) nobody was very interested to guide you the easiest way to where we wanted to go in the hotel... take this lift.. or go that way.. so it was a lot of lifts up and down and unclear directions which took wasted a lot of time. Also I was a day late for my booking and called them up to inform. Calling them the following day they said my room was given away as a no show.. got it sorted in the end.. the rooms can do with a freshen up.. the old decor from W hotel which is now called V hotel.. lots of surfaces are stained or burn marks from cigarettes in the white vinyl tables (why padded white vinyl tables in a smoking hotel room??) Could have been given clear instructions of how the hotel was laid out in terms of where bars, restaurants, breakfast, pool etc was.
