Really nice place in a quiet area, away from the hustle of the Szklarska town centre. I have discovered some pleasant walks around the willa (through the forest or on the country road), including to Wlastimilovka (15 mins walk) where the Polish painter Wlastimil Hofman used to live.
The room felt spacious and cosy. High ceilings, large windows, natural wooden floors.
The communal kitchen has 2 tables, which can fit 4 people each, and is well equipped. It includes the essentials like salt and pepper and tea bags and a coffee machine (pre-loaded with coffee beans). The two-hob induction stove is powerful.
The hotel served as a very good base for me to go cross-country skiing in Jakuszyce (20 min drive) and explore Szklarska Poreba and the larger surrounding area. (It takes 10 mins by car to get to the town centre.)
Thank you to Slawek for his warm hospitality and the parting gifts for my daughters (!).
