We did not realize we had booked a shared bathroom; however, it worked out well. It was clean and well attended to. It was only shared with one other guest room. Shared kitchen served us well and we had very nice time talking with other guests. The timing of the different guest meal prep worked out naturally well; however, if multiple guests were trying to cook at same time, that would be challenging. LOVELY pool at garden courtyard. Gorgeous setting. Bedroom was basic. Could use some shelf or cabinet space; however, it perfectly met our needs. A lot of outside area to enjoy and there as also an inside living room for relaxing.

The house is beautiful and we really felt like home.
Even with shared bathroom and kitchen it was cleaned every day! Also fully equipped.

I really enjoyed the stay A Casa do Comandante. The room was clean and well equipped. The house met my expectations and I can recommend this place for anyone that want to visit Azores in the future. The host is excellent and helped me when I needed.
This place is so well equiped! Lots of space, great kitchen, well organised and absolutely great value. I've travelled a lot, but until now, nowhere have I taken pictures of a matrass. This was a first. I want it for my house. The bed was so comfortable, real linnen, nice and plenty pillows...

This place has a wonderful story of bringing people together. All the pictures are accurate. The pool, the garden...it is all very well taken care off.
The property is beautiful, featuring a pool and garden, plenty of space for every guest, and lovely details in the interior design. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy and enjoyable to cook dinner, and the washing machine was very convenient, especially for longer stays. The jacuzzi was a great bonus, enhancing the relaxing experience. In addition to bath towels, there were also towels for the pool and beach, which was very nice.
