Great location near the city center with peaceful ambiance

The hotel is really great - nice location next to the city center, spacious rooms equipped with kitchenette, really tasty breakfast, lovely surroundings and exceptional staff. Greatly recommend for staying at Funchal

An oasis just above the old town with a wonderful staff, wonderful views and a fabulous breakfast. If you like to walk note that the center of the old town is about 10 minutes downhill.

We loved that the hotel was easy to find an offered secured parking! The hotel was really interesting in that. It was attached to a historic and beautiful home. There was definitely a combination of antique and modern elements. The room was spacious well equipped with the kitchenette, and the beds were very comfortable. Nuno at reception was fantastic! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and also helped us to check on museum times and plan the rest of our day. The breakfast was delicious and service was wonderful. It was definitely not your standard buffet breakfast, but was very personal. We highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again upon returning to Funchal.
