I liked the breakfast restaurant downstairs loved the shower the front desk in the morning young lady spoke very good English was very helpful.
The location is in the heart of Porto and located near a laundromat, grocery and pizza place. I got to speak to the locals while running errands and get a real feel of Portugal.

the area even thought looks kind of rough - is actually very safe, even late at night. Super close to bunch of bars/restaurants, walkable to the center even (if you like walking). The room was exceptional! Clean, comfortable, quiet. We haven't tried the food at the restaurant but breakfasts and evening meals are available for purchase.
The property had a beautiful lobby, clean rooms and attentive staff.
